Garden Design for Daisy Green Collection of Restaurants, London.
‘ A garden is a living painting…plants are a metaphor, a tool to express yourself…’ Piet Odulf.
“All of Daisy Green’s outdoor green spaces have been conceptualised by artist and curator, Rosalind Davis. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Rosalind was convinced by founder Prue Freeman in 2020, to blend her artistic vision with horticultural know-how as a garden designer for the restaurant group. A successful artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally, Rosalind treats each landscape project as a living canvas.” Caru Sanders
The first project was In collaboration with Justin Hibbs at Bondi Green, Paddington who created 5 bespoke large scale sculptural planters designed to reflect the exterior of the Brunel Building structure at Paddington. These planters and the extensive potted plants create a magical oasis for diners. The tropical themed planting continues inside in a series of layered pots bringing an authentic touch to the Bondi aesthetic.
In the last 5 years Rosalind has designed and installed 18 gardens for Daisy Green sites across London including The National Portrait Gallery, a pontoon in Richmond - Peggy Gene, Holland Park Cafe and Paradise Green in Liverpool Street to name a few.
