Core Gallery is an artist led space founded through a determination and initiative to create a dynamic exploratory exhibition and education programme; providing exposure, advise, education and nurturing artists whether emerging or established. Managing a small team, working remotely across the world, I have worked with over 100 artists and Curators and have experience in programming, curating, co-ordinating, managing, marketing and promoting artists as well as receiving funding from both charities and independent bodies as well as local authorities.

With over 15 exhibitions, 5,000 visitors and an 80% increase in our mailing list since we opened in April 2010, the success of our gallery space has led to external and our internal studio artists benefitting. I have also developed our role in the local community , engaging with local schools and college and external stakeholders through a locally funded drawing experimental day.

Budget management: for educational projects and managing sales of artworks for both private and public collections.

Advertising and Marketing Events;
Copy writing for press, web, presentation and pitches.
Setting up a mail e-newsletter and using social media: facebook group twitter, linked in
Writing press releases and working with our press manager we have secured more than 15 published press articles.

Audience Development:
Since April 2010 to June 2011 I have increased our audience from 271 to 1500: due to my audience development; Creating e-bulletins, mail campaigns, press, twitter updates, linked in and facebook.: programming high impact exhibitions, running an annual high profile competition as well as DIY Educate.
On average we are now getting 15 new subscribers each week.

Delivering a creative learning project and workshops for KS2 exploring the Olympic Values
Roles and Responsibilities
• Planning and preparing visits to 10 different cultural venues in 3 days for 10 children in London,
• Liasing with project partners and cultural venues and meeting multiple objectives
• Created educational and creative workshops for venues and school settings that involved drawing, recording and learning from artefacts in venues that reflected Olympic values monitoring and evaluating the project with key partners
