Paintings: A Difference in Vision
A series of paintings which look at social housing in the UK. The Robin Hood Estate in Poplar, The Ayelsury/ Heygate estate in Elephant and Castle and the Ferriers Estate in Kidbrooke. Buildings bourne out of ideas of Utopia that have fallen into Dystopia.
Buildings can often be relegated to the background but can also contain all ones private thoughts, memories and emotions:
Within them we live out our lives. Evolving, destroying, living, dying. We love there and lose there.
Prices on application or please contact Long and Ryle Gallery
